Question Applying Wax?

This weekend I'm going to attempt to "de-swirl" my truck and was wondering what kind of environment is the best to do this. I live in Minnesota and although it should be much colder right now it is usually about 35-40 degrees during the day. Is this alright to be applying wax or should I do this in my garage which is somewhat humid but maintains about 50 degrees constantly. Can this be done in a humid environment? I do have a dehumidifier I could put in the garage. Any opinions?? Thanks in advance!

Cool

If you're going to use a polish or glaze the humidity should actually help keep the compound from drying too quickly. The wax will just take a little longer to dry.
Other than that, neither product should be affected by the humidity

Cool

I waxed my truck this weekend as well. I live near the Iowa/Minnesota boarder and as long as you keep out of the sun and start to buff the wax off a couple of hours before sunset you should be ok. Otherwise the humidity and cooler temps will freeze the moisture on the vehicle. If your going to use a carnuba based wax the longer you let it sit on the paint before you buff it off the better. If you have already waxed your truck before you read this and you probably have then disregard. Enjoy.

I used KIT carnuba wax after washing with the KIT carnuba wax and cleaner and had excellent results. Conditions: evening sun, 0 humidity, 55 degrees in a slight wind.
