ROAD PAINT!!!!
Well I was driving Friday and ran in some paint somewhere and I don' t know where I got it from. I got all of it off except what is on the right rear tire and some little specks on the right side and the tailgate. The specks come of with a ease using my fingernail, but it is alot of them and I was wondering if anybody knew of anything that I could use to take them off and not damage the paint. I think I am going to use shoe polish on the tire to cover that paint because I can't get it off. Thanks

Try a product called Clay Magic. It is great for removing overspray and pollution on the surface. I know Pep Boys carries it and Trak Auto. Or they have web site.

You guys are right. I spent some six hours of quality time with Clay Magic. My truck was oversprayed (on all sides) 3 days after leaving the dealers lot. The paint felt like sandpaper. Clay Magic worked like a champ.

My dad applied road paint unknowingly to the entire driverside of his truck. It was yellow, and his truck is black. There was yellow paint everywhere. all inside the fender wells, nerf bars, body panels, windows. I seriously think he was following a striping truck for several miles. Any how, we tried everything to get it off, and nothing worked, So one night I brought the pressure washer home from work. 4000 PSI, 210 degree hot water, and a 5 degree nozzledid the trick. Its not a tool everyone can get ahold of, but it did the job.

I tried Clay Magic yesterday. It didn't do squat for the white road paint. I already tried WD-40, paint thinner, fingernail polish remover, brake cleaner, etc., etc. Finally just took the round end of a hacksaw blade and scraped it off. Two hours and a few clearcoat scratches later, it's all gone.
Promptly cleaned and polished in attempt to restore some of the protection which I'm sure got stripped off by all of the chemicals.
