You will need more than wax to fix the problem. You can do it your self but you will need a machine with the correct pads and product to make them go away.

Here are a couple places that sell kits but you may be able to find a good detailer for less. They have gone up in price since I looked at them last time.

Get you a Porter Cable 7424xp and get some Lake Country Orange,Green & Blue pads. I bought some of these and Some Meguiar's M105 & M205. I used it all today and had incredible results.

Here's a decent write up on how to do the steps I took HERE

Where in md are you?

What year is your truck? If it's 93 I believe it's SS.

Give us a budget and we'll help you out.

No disrespect carolinaboy32, but your pictures don't show anything. The before picture is in direct light which shows the flaws and the second is just a reflection shot. You may have gotten excellent results but that second picture doesn't prove either way.

stealthsniper96, like others have said, we really need to know your budget and even then some pictures will help too.

3m sells a swirl mark compound made for dark colors. That with a foam pad should get rid of them.

This will make it worse. Espically if it's single stage. 3m ultrafine would be a good starting point, though.

Well I know I got good results, but I do agree I couldn't get a direct sunlight picture because of the angle of the sun and I was exhausted so I didn't wait till the sun got lower to get some sun shots. Look at Mblouir's Second detail thread and look at his shots very similar to mine
