Cool How can I get a deep shine on white paint?

I have a white truck and that is good for not showing the scrathes. The downside is that it is not as shiny looking as darker colors. What can I do to get a "deep" shine?

Lovetoboard, that name could be taken in several ways....
To answer your question on white clear coat, probably Oxford White, get it good and clean, all bugs, tar and whatevers off and then wash it real good with a good car wash
and then start putting on "LIQUID Glass", you can get at Peps Boys and some of the independent parts stores. Costs around $14.00, use to be about $22.00 when i first started using it, that has to be 16 yrs ago.Dries fast, put on many coats, its white in color so guess what....
Check out all the people who own classic cars, that's what they use, and the nice thing about it, you can put it on in the sun, only i would find a shade tree if above 90 degrees.
I've detailed cars since 1970 and this IS the best product for deep shine, remember it doesn't clean your truck or car, you'll have to go with something name brand to clean with, i use " FLASH", it's made by Malco Co. carnuba and some type actone. Car lots use alot of this, quick and does a nice job, if you put on about 4 coats.
I've owned 4 vech that were white, well 3, i've got one coming soon.
It will be getting aleast 6 coats of "GLASS' before any real road travel. REMEMBER CLEAN REAL GOOD, before you use this.
P.s. 1 can will last about 2 yrs...

I wholefartedily agree,

I love Liquid Glass and that is all I have ever used. My truck is solid oxford white and it is gonna look great. Also, I have only ever done it once a year.

Talking

Purchased the Liquid Glass last night. Hope to get at least 2 costs applied Saturday morning. Not sure what the wife has on the "Honey-Do" list yet. I've tried Meguires and some of the other brands of polish and wax and have not been at all satisfied with the results. Seems that only six or eight car washes and no more beading with most of the products. The stuff in the orange bottle, Nu-Finish I think, seems to be the best or at least the longest lasting product I have tried. Anxious to try the Liquid Glass, seems like a of you are giving it a strong recommendation.
