Detailed my '63
My truck seems to think it is my baby, however my true baby is my 1963 Gretsch Chet Atkins Nashville double cutaway.
I've had it for over 20 years and never really had the guts to touch it. So I stripped it down, took the electronics out and cleaned them. Cleaned the rust and gunk off of each pick-up post, Polished all the brass plating (which is well worn) with Never Dull, and gave it a through clean and wax on the body. Light sanded the fretboard and re-oiled it. Restrung and set the intonation (a 1st for me on any guitar). Cleaned and oiled the tuner keys
It plays better than it ever has (it even made me sound good.), smooth as silk up and down the fretboard, and the pick-ups now have some tone and pop. I still need to work on the pick-up post height on the rear pickup to smooth out the volume when I switch to it (too quiet compared to the other pickup configs)

you can see how faded the finish is
