Light scratches

I am very carfull when i leave my truck anywere. I park away from everyone else and i take very good care of my truck. I was camping last weekend and as i was leaving the people across the way had a dog and was just leting him run free with the leash hanging from it's collar. Don't ya know it run's up and jumps on my driver's door. I was less than please and started yelling like a mad man. They are very light and i was just wondering what the best way to get rid of them would be. If i clay bar it would they come out or do i need to use something else first because i will be clay barring it in the future.

Thanks in advance Hugh

Clay wont take it out. If your going to do it by hand pick up some Meguires Ultimate Compound, its about $10 at most auto parts stores like Autozone, PepBoys and Aid. It might take a few applications depending on how bad it is. I use this all the time and its a great consumer product.
