Removing Decals- heat gun?
Removing Decals- heat gun?
My friend has decals on the side of her truck from her dad's business and she'd like them taken off...
I have a heat gun but i'm just wondering if i need to be really careful with that or what? Can i damage the paint? whats the best way to go about it..?
or would it just be better/safe to use a hairdryer?

used a heat gun to take off the adhesive under my door molding. set it at 850 degrees. but yes, keep it moving and dont let it sit it one spot for more than a second, or say goodbye to your paint
Ok Thanks. Think i'm gonna start off with a hairdryer and see how that goes. A shop was gonna charge her $100 to do it so i figured i could give it a try and save her some money
