Dirty Headlights PLEASE HELP
Dirty Headlights PLEASE HELP
I bought my headlights off ebay and they have looked great and have never leaked. But somehow they are dirty on the inside. How easy are they to take apart so I can clean them (and seal them this time). Also how do I go about cleaning them? I know that ADS and some places offer headlight restoration kits, but is there any other way?
Thanks guys

Are they dirty? Maybe they have some condensation in them? You would have to let them air out, and then re-seal them. Do they look really cloudy on the inside or what? I have used scratch doctor on my headlights and it works great. Gets all those nasty bug guts off there like nothing.
I use Blue Magic HeadLight and Lens restorer .. When I first got my truck I started using this and my OEM Lights still look good.. I think aftermarket lights are not built as rigid as OEM even though they look alot better.. May have to drill a little hole at the top in the plastic and blow them out with some air..
GLC is rite. The kits are for the outside. But even then I would'nt waste my money on it. I have used 3M scratch DR with the Mothers ball and had very good results on the outside. The inside is a little more trickey. You have to let them dry out and I have used the smaller Mothers ball and that worked for me.
