Less aggressive than Ultimate Compound?

Less aggressive than Ultimate Compound?
I used some Meg. Ultimate Compound(by hand) on my 78' F250(original single stage paint) to get some heavy oxidation out. It took it out, but I can't seem to get the scratches it left behind. I tried Scratch X-3 times- and it didn't do anything. What would be a good product to remove the scratches?
