Question about when to use swirl remover

I have some VERY light swirling. Nothing bad at all, but I want perfection. I was planning on using Swirl X. Anyway, just curious as what order to use it? First? right after claying? I'm also going to use Mothers step 1 (pre wax cleaner), step 2 (sealer and glaze) and step 3 (wax). I was thinking it should go on before all of these? Thanks.

My truck really shines with just a basic wax (especially after claying) but I want even more of a shine. Note; I do not have a DA. All will be done by hand.

Generally, you'd want to use any polish after claying, so as to not induce micromarring from anything embedded in the paint.

Wash
Clay
Polish (how many ever needed)
Glaze (optional)
Sealant/Wax (can do both, with 12 hour wait period)

I've never used Swirl X, so I'm not sure how strong it is, but it should fit in between Scratch X and Scratch X 2.0. Be forewarned, it will be a lot of work doing it by hand.

What wax are you using, BTW? Since you have a white truck, you might get more "shine" from a synthetic wax/sealant.

If you want perfection or anything close to perfection PLEASE don't attempt this by hand.

If you are doing it by hand, just switch to a good synthetic wax that has some fillers - such as Megs NXT 2.0 or Mothers Synwax. To actually *remove* the swirls, you need a machine.
