Non stick engine

not sure if this is the right place to post but...is there something that I can spray my engine with while i have it out to make it non stick so I can just wash it down easily when it is in the truck and have it looking new all the time?

Whether something like that exists or not, Tritons do NOT like to be washed. The spark plugs are in the wrong place, and there's a LOT of other moisture-susceptible electronics under there.

You can wash it down but you have to be very careful. Don't use real hard pressure and cover anything succeptable to water damage, ie the air filter (if open box), fuse box, etc with a bag of some sort. It might not be something you want to risk doing but if you do, atleast take as many precautionary steps as possible.

well since it does not like to be washed then I guess I am just going to paint the block and heads and exhaust manifolds a gloss black so it never looks dirty...

Sounds like a plan. Might make it hard to spot leaks if any should arise.

true, I am going to have to find some paint that will look good and be able to spot leaks like maybe a dark silver or "gun metal" grey
