Optimum No Rinse

I was looking at optimum no rinse, but I have a few questions. How well does it work? Is it safe for dirtier vehicles, like dusty. Normal dirty. Thanks

It works very well and will be good as long as the vehicle isn't muddy. Then it's a good idea to get to a pressurewasher first and blast the mud off.

If it's muddy or really dirty, take it to the quarter wash and hit it with the high pressure rinse, drive it home, then use ONR.

Here's a quick video of RR doing his hood. It's quick, easy, saves water and works well.

I love the stuff. It leaves a really good shine and smoothness. Buy it by the gallon and it's very cost effective. If the vehicle is really in bad shape with caked on dirt/mud, it certainly would be better to pressure spray first.

Here's Scottwax's video on the use of ONR.

I just started using it this year and so far it is great. The reason I've switched to is because I don't have any shade to wash under and ONR works great for me. I don't have to keep running around trying to keep the truck wet during the whole wash.

I really like skipping the rinse step, no water hose, no water and soap suds mess and the shine and finish is second to none for just a wipe and dry product. Fastest way to clean anything.

Optimum says it doesn't matter but there is a limit to how much accumulated dirt I will try to wipe off.... ONR mixed QD works very well on dusty.
It's 3 products in 1.

I am loading another short video as I type this, it is part 2 on the door and I show the solution and rinse bucket so you can see how much it does remove.

Cheers

No and I am so pissed too...I have been trying to figure out why when I upload a video now it isn't showing up. I have been all over the forums trying to solve the issue but something has changed on youtubes end...lots of folks are having issues.

I may give up on youtube and put it on facebook under The Detailer's Cafe

Wouldn't you need a Facebook account to view it then? I'm not completely sure how Facebook works. I don't use it. You can upload videos to photobucket as well.

Great stuff and works good as a clay lube too in the correct dilution.

Thanks for sharing the vid.

I washed a couple of cars with ONR today as well and it really does a nice job.

Good video.

I wash my truck 3 times with 2 gallons of ONR.
I haven't used soap on my truck in nearly 3 months.
