Need some advice
I admit I have neglected my truck for several months now and my paint is paying the price for it. Not sure if you can tell from the attached shots, but I have some pretty bad water spotting and streaks. I washed the truck really good today using Megs Gold Class and the 2 bucket method, truck does look a lot better, that is until you get up close and really look at it. I know that I need to break out my DA polisher and give it a good detail My issue is I only have #80 and I don't think that's going to do the trick so I'm going to have to put in an order. So what I am looking for is should I get some #83 and try that or should I go for some #105 and #205? Also since I need to make an order what else should I grab? (I already have hyperdressing on the list
)
Thanks

water spots can be tricky...they can be superficial or they can be etched.
Depending how bad the etching is depends on the plan of attack.
Any chance you can get some close ups of the spots under direct light or sun?

Here's a pic that hopefully gives you the detail you need.

The main white is the reflection of clouds, but hopefully you can see the waterspots (look between the suns reflecting and the date stamp) as well. I know in the larger size picture I have no problem seeing them, but it gets tougher to see them when the picture is resized smaller. Appreciate the taking a look and the feedback.

I haven't broken out any 80 yet so that's a before shot. I didn't want to hit it with anything yet if the advice was to go with the 83 or 105 & 205.
What kind of pads are you going to use?
I have Meguiar's polishing (w-8006) and finishing (w-9006) pads only. Do you think I should pick up some cutting pads? I'm open to any and all suggestions.
Might be nice to have a cutting pad or two for special spots but you may not need em.
Yeah I need to put in an order so I might to just go ahead and pick up one or two just to have on hand.
