How do you polish the front diamond plate on a trailer
Like the title says. What is the best method to use to get this thing shining? I used about six pads today cleaning my fenders and getting them shiny. I tried the do the diamond plate also by hand and its not working. Too much work to do by hand. Anyone have an idea for me.
Thanks
Thanks
Sure will do but will Megs NXT Metal Polish work just as well? The reason I ask is b/c I have plenty of it

I've had really good experience withe a jeweler's wheel on a cordless drill. It's what I used on all the aluminum on my sled and you can get into some tight spots with it and work around rivets and such.
Let us know how it turns out with the mothers ball I've only used it on my rims and bumper so far when it comes to chrome on the truck.

105 works pretty well on metal. Hit up my buddy's bike exhaust, and that thing looks like new now. Also works great in bike windscreens.
Hmm, I thought I had bookmarked that link someone posted here where they detailed an F250, and used 105 on basically everything, from the diamond plate tool box to the plastic bug guard.

PlastX on a small foam pad works great on bug guards.
Found a good use for 105 - cleaning up the crappy dark gray plastic XL grill bars. Lumadar has before and after pics when he gets a chance to post them.
