Rivets on wheels

Are rivets on wheels a pain in theSS ? What would you recommend using to keep them in tip top shape?

I haven't had to deal with them but I'd suggest staying on top of them. I'd use a decent, safe, wheel cleaner and agitate them with a wheel brush like Meg's Slidelock or Swissvax wheel brush.

ESF is right, but there's an underlying problem. If your wheels are chrome plated with rivets, you're going to have high and low current density areas causing uneven plating thickness on and around the rivets. That's going to cause corrosion almost no matter what you do. Good luck!
