Mother's Powerball

Hey people.. I recently swapped out my stock pads in hopes of less dusting.. but it's obvious that they are still going to dust up regardless.. Question is.. what would be my best course of action to get my wheels nice and clean?

As of now, I've just been using the leftover Megs Gold Class soap/water that I used to wash down the truck and a small rag/sponge. It works well enough for me.. but I need something better to get into the nooks and crannys of my wheels.. I have the ProComp 7005s.. which are matte black, and they show dust pretty bad..

I'm thinking about something like the Mother's Powerball MINI, which is basically just a small round sponge attached to a drill bit. I'm sure this would help make the cleaning a lot easier for the small gaps in my wheels, but it almost looks a little too big. They also carry a Powercone, which is very similar, except it's cone-shaped, but it still looks too big..

I haven't made a trip to Home Depot or Lowes yet.. but does anyone have any other ideas for a small sponge-like drill bit attachment that I could use to clean my wheels? How else would you guys go about cleaning the the nooks and crannys of my wheels?

Here's a pic.. They look really clean in this pic.. but they were only a couple hours old..

Wheels brushes. A big boars hair brush will get a lot but they're not really good for smaller, tighter areas. Something like Meg's Slidelock which is discontinued now would work. Swissvax makes nice wheel brushes.

Obsessive Detail has a clearance on the Dura-ball which is basically the same thing as the Powerball Mini. It's a 3" foam ball for the drill. I have one on the way.

Made the same mistake...

One reason I went with black painted wheels was for less work.
Then I got ceramic brakes to cut down on the dust.

You can run but you cant hide.
My wheels are 4 years old.
Except for a few less wax steps they get the same treatment as the rest of the truck. I have not found a suitable short cut yet.
Good luck.

I have the Mothers Powerball, but its the big one. It works well to apply the product quickly, but you still need to hand buff.
1-10 scale I give it an 8.

For cleaning use a brush like those posted above- for polishing get the cone. It will fit.

I just use a couple microfiber towels specifically for the wheels. It's some work to keep them clean but it's worth it to me, especially considering how much we all pay for them. I've read you do the same---that is, spray the wheels and tires with Hyperdressing. I've found that compared to not spraying the wheels with Hyperdressing, having it on is a good protectant from dust. It does build up, but with the dressing on it the dust wipes off very easily.

I've tried the big Mother's Powerball before to try to wax the truck and it was a POS, imo. Go with the brush like others are recommending.
