I Finally Bought a Porter Cable Polisher
After all these years of polishing by hand I finally bought a polisher. I've wanted one for years. I'm a lazy **** and polishing by hand is one hell of a lot of work. This polisher should take a majority of the labour out of the picture and have much better results.
As mentioned, I'm lazy, so I'll be using the same "all in one" that did so well for me by hand. Poli-Seal and a Green Lake Country pad should do the trick. For all you OC 'ers, I realize I won't get a "car show" shine, but the shine this stuff provides is still a very good shine and I'm satisfied with the results provided by hand. Plus Opti Seal will correct, and seal all at once! That's perfect for a lazy fock like me
Anyway, just thought I'd share, because I'm kinda excited to use this thing.
As mentioned, I'm lazy, so I'll be using the same "all in one" that did so well for me by hand. Poli-Seal and a Green Lake Country pad should do the trick. sweeet. I have G110 and I attended a Megs class this past weekend in Fl with Mike Phillips and I had a blast. I learned so much and I can't wait for it to warm up here in NYC so I can use it.

Yeah, I just bought it and it will take some time to arrive, but that's okay. It's still too damn cold out anyway. I'll be ready for that first nice warm day.

PoliSeal is great stuff. I run it on a megs polishing or finishing pad at 5.5

I have a brand new (used once) Klasse kit if anyone wants it. Too much work, and it's finicky to apply.

My PC finally arrived, but I have a question.
There's a 5" spacer on it now but it also came with a 6" spacer. I ordered the Lake Country 5" Backing Plate with 6.5" CCS pads. Should I switch to the 6", or just leave the 5" spacer on it?

It's not a spacer, it's a counterweight. You're gonna want to run the 6" counterweight with the 6.5" pads.
Don't lose the 5" counterweight though. After you get the hang of things you might want to try some of the smaller pads.

It does clearly say on each counterweight "use 5 inch pad only" or "use 6 inch pad only". I figured I'd ask some of you experienced folks instead.

Oh, ok thanks. In the manual it shows it as a spacer and it says "A spacer is supplied with the 7336SP and 7424 to allow the backup pad to clear the eccentric plate screws." It looks like the arrow is pointing to the counterweight but they're calling it a spacer? Might just be the way the manual is showing it.
It does clearly say on each counterweight "use 5 inch pad only" or "use 6 inch pad only". I figured I'd ask some of you experienced folks instead.

I'm in Manitoba and looking to get a PW polisher as well. Where did you order yours? Finding a dealer in Canada is difficult at best.
