APC+ is great, also brings out the owl on the tires.

If you have custom wheels other than FORD wheels be VERY careful when using Mean Green and Simple Green because it will strip off the clearcoat from the wheel or it will etch them if left on the wheel for a short time. Hope this helps out I normally use Mean Green or Simple Green and a firm brush and no browning also no tire shine of any kind

I need to get a brush for mine. Do you have a pic of what yours look like? Better yet, where did you get it from?

PS I have to upload pics from the class and the fest

I had gotten mine when I was on my Adam's kick. They don't even off it anymore. It's probably not the best brush but it works for me so I don't see a need to get a new one right now. As long as it has stiff nylon bristles you should be good. Mine has a pretty long handle as well so I Can get in the fender wells easy.

APC+ is orange. APC+ was designed to be low foaming so it could be used in carpet cleaners and extractors. That's what the + stands for. I don't know if it's any stronger though.

Absolutely correct advice.

A lot of times f you have used a dressing on your tires, tire wet, etc. and you stop using dressing the tires will turn brown. If a brish does not work then use a large smooth stone to remove. Works great and free of cost.

Walmart has tire brushes that work fine. This is not a boutique item like some of the stuff you guys insist on using. It just isn't critical.

Sorry, Blang... missed this the first pass...

What ESF has stated is EXACTLY what I do on my vehicle as well as all of my client vehicles (minus a few special circumstances which will get a more 'aggressive' cleaning).

If you need an aggressive tire cleaning, Westley's is exactly that. Protect your wheels if you use it.

I use Simple Green for A LOT of things, but to get rid of that brown film (caused by brake dust) and bring the white letters back to new, Spray 9 and a brush does the best job of anything I've tried. I was skeptical when I was told to try it a few years back, but now it's all I use for this purpose. It takes about 1 minute a tire. Spray it on and immediately start scrubbing the entire sidewall and then immdediately hose it off. Brand new tires baby, and white lettering that makes the tires look like brand new! They come out so clean I don't even bother with tire dressing half the time.
