It's a dual action polisher we use to polish granite it work, I basically have these at my expense. It has exchangeable heads so I can take the grinder off and replace with a buffing pad, handles, etc.

It's about 1000-3000 RPM so I was wondering if that was too much for a polisher.

 

Those look like circular polishers to me. I would be very careful using those, you can burn up your paint pretty easy if you don't know what you are doing. That spins in a circular motion which generates a lot of heat.

Get yourself a dedicated DA you wont be sorry.

 

That's a Rotary Buffer, A DA is dual action meaning that while it spins the head, the area where it attaches oscillates at the same time. That prevent the heat which can build up with a rotary. I would stay away from the rotary unless you really know what you are doing.

 

Well I do polish all types of Rock all day everyday....


I kind of figured it wasn't though, dang, thought I was getting by on this one. I don't plan to do any detailing until Rockpick and I meet up and he teaches me a few things(if ever...lol).

Hey, you don't know anyone over there that needs a stock muffler (full assembly) for a 2004-2008, do you? If so, I have one that can be had -- very very very cheap. I just hate to throw this thing away...

 

Nah, I don't know too many people with 04 and up f150s that mod or really do anything besides drive their truck. I'll ask around though...
