Windshield Fogging on the inside
Windshield Fogging on the inside
I use the rain x window cleaner and stoners invisible glass on the out side of the windshield of my truck and just stoners on the inside of the windows. When its cold out i go out and get the frost off the out side and the window is perfectly clear but when i get in the truck my windshield and only the windshield none of the other windows fogs up on the inside to the point i cant see anyone else have this problem because then i have to wait for my defroster before I can go anywhere. Any good anti-fog products out there?
Rain-x has an anti-fogging treatment, or did 10 yrs ago. I used it when my Crown Vic's defrost took a poo, worked great but not totally cured. Lets say it made things manageable.
What in the hell you using 3000 psi on a truck for? Christ, I know people who use 3400 to strip paint and rust from flatbed semi-truck trailers. Holy hell, you must spray from 30 ft back.

That's why I stopped using Rain-X. This happened to me more than once on more than one vehicle. That and it seems to speed the aging of wipers. They just don't work as well when you do need them. What I started using for a while was Adam's Brilliant Spray Glaze. Works really well and I never got any fogging.

Its just what we have at the farm, it can take paint off pretty easy if your not careful with it

What you describe is not a normal condition. Generally speaking, the only way I've seen it happen is if there is moisture getting in someplace. Possible sources include a leak (already mentioned) or a heater core on the way out the door. (Do you smell anti-freeze?) On most imports, there is a HVAC system position where you're recirculating inside air instead of using fresh air. If your truck has that, it can cause fogging too.
Humidity........
I had condensation on the inside of my windshield also. Come to find out, I had a leak around the windshiel from a replacement install and a leak at my door checks. The carpet was wet, causing the condensation...
In my truck I never need the defroster... the only time I've ever used it was if I was too lazy to clean my windshield of ice.
Also, make sure you turn off your climate controls when you are finished with your truck. Leaving them in a vent position will keep the vent open allowing humidity differences to be encountered when your truck is parked. I always turn mine off.
