These products have come a long way but, most of the Wal-Mart stuff is the same ole from days ago... in short, they're not all that fantastic, IMO.

That said, I have found a spray wax or two that is absolutely fantastic that I will often use when I'm drying and then will finish with a QD-spray ... that's Optimum Spray Wax. It blows the over the counter stuff out of the water (and I've used all of them -- Mothers to Meguiar's to Eagle).

Boss turned me on to this stuff many moons ago (although, I've only been using it for the better portion of a year now). I like it enough that my wife's 04' Explorer has nothing but OSW on it right now and it's beading like crazy... It's a fantastic booster wax -- or, even, a stand alone wax. Great stuff!!!

Check out Obsessivedetail.com for the best deal on Optimum products.

I thought WAYD was the greatest stuff since sliced bread when I first used it. I still use it pretty much every wash in between waxes.
