Detailing Contest Help

Hey guys, I'm a member over on the Adam's Polishes forum and they're having a contest for best before/after and best "lounge poster".

I'm one of 2 F150's in the contests and I'd appreciate some brotherly help over there

While I am not a member of Adams, I will give you this...you posted much more realistic before and afters than anyone else over there.

Great reflection shots in the shade show nothing...so I hope you win for at least posting sun shots to show correction work.

Nice job..good luck.

Hey do they have a minimum post count to participate? I've been thinking about joining up over there and using their product like you have. If it worked that well for you then I know it's good stuff. I may join up and vote for you when I get off work.

Nope, no minimum post count. I don't post much over there, but they've got some good, very specific detailing forums over there. Plus a bunch of very talented folks willing to help out.

Cool deal. Is there a place to vote for the before/after pics? I see the poll for the poster contest but not for the before/after shots. By the way, for some reason your poster is not showing up for me in that thread (pg 2).

Were you logged in when looking at the poster thread?

The before/after voting hasn't started yet, i guess I was a little premature in posting that link.

No I wasn't. I could see everyone else's but yours. Strange. I'll try making an account and seeing if it shows up.

edit- Okay made an account and it worked. It seems some people's posters showed up but others didn't. I like it...voted.

Yup, that's the one. Although I mixed a little bit of the Revive Polish in with it as well.

Next time I do a full detail I'm going to use these in addition to the Swirl and Haze Remover and see how that works out.

Nice. You're a bad influence, man. I think I'm going to break down after class and buy the PC and other stuff. I've spent a ton of dough on random cleaning supplies but this time I'm going to buy the right stuff. Thanks again, buddy, for helping me spend my money.

No problem! I was in the same boat you are, but honestly, I forget exactly how I came across Adam's Polishes. Alot of the guys around here love Meguiars stuff, but I haven't used any.

I think it may have been all the how-to videos that were posted that originally lead me to the site. I went ahead and bought a bigass combo package from them, everything except the PC because Lowe's was having a sale and I picked up the PC for like $70.

After taking my truck to the pay-and-spray a few times I realized I would have to hand wash this truck if I wanted it to stay looking nice.

Good luck man. Half of the posters didn't say anything about Adams or detailing.
