Angry Tire shine

I am so tired of all these tire shines that look real good when applied but slings off the tire within a few miles of driving all over the sides of the truck. I have even put it on at the end of the day so the truck can sit over night and it still doesnt matter. I have used STP son of a gun, black magic, armor all, and numerous other items. I ordered some HyperDressing from ADS and will get it sometime today. Will i have a problem with the hyperdressing slinging? If ya'll know of any item that works let me know! THANKS

HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO EVERYONE

HD is great stuff the only question I have is are you using an applicator to spread it evenly/get rid of excess product or are you just spraying it on and letting it soak in? I have always wiped away the excess and I have no problems with "sling".

What i do is spray it on and let it sit for maybe 15, 20 mins and then i take a applicator and go around the tire. I Just got some black magic and after 30 miles of driving there is nothing left on the tires and is all on the side of the truck. Cant wait for the HYPERDRESSING

I use Meg's Hot Tire Spray, Eagle One Spray or Black Magic. It's all about the same stuff. Spray it on and almost immediately wipe the tire off with a rag. I don't get any slingiing at all. Looks good till it gets dirty from the rain.

This is all I have used for the last year. It works great and will not sling off onto the side of your truck or car.

I'd put money on that once you use the HD your search will be over.

Just spray it on and if you need to move the vehicle before it dries just wipe the excess. I myself just spray it on, walk away, and let it dry all the way.
Since it's water based it will dry quickly.

I use Meguiars hot shine tire gel, whipe it on with an old foam applicator until I get a semi gloss finish and i've never had any problems. And thats with tires that stick out a good ways past my fenders. But i agree, after all the great reviews ive heard on HD, I doubt you'll have any problems with it.

I use Meg's Hot Shine Foam, just apply, let it sit overnight, and drive off. No sling-off

Sling comes from using too much/having too much dressing on the tire.

If the tire is really dirty I don't care what you use it is going to sling a little. You cant keep "stacking" the dressing on, eventually the tire will be saturated and just will not hold a product. The first step to a shiny tire is a clean tire. Do yourself a favor and pick up a stiff bristle brush and a bottle of Simple Green or Westley's Bleach white. Spray the tire, scrub like hell, rinse and repeat as needed. You may need to do this 2-3 times before the tire is clean. You will see a noticeable difference and the dressing will be more likely to stay on the area's applied. Also when I apply tire dressing I never spray the tire directly. I spray the applicator and then apply the product with that. This insures you will not have excess dressing stuck in the lip of the rim.

x2 great stuff. I soak the tires completely and when the actual foam is gone and it's more of a liquid form I spread it around the tire. Very little actually wipes up and none slings.

Hpyerdressing is my dressing of choice. I load up the tire with the desired ratio and then wait for it to dry (or close to it) and then I hit it with a second coat and spread it around with an applicator of some sort. If I don't have HD, I'll use Stoner's More Shine. Both are great.
