thanx for all the info guys! i had new pads put on when i got the wheels and am having no dust so far but i do keep them wiped off every couple of days... the maker of the wheels said they were aluminum wheels with chrome plated lips and painted centers... dont remember him saying they were clear coated .. i will call him bak tommorow adn ask...willl stick with megs soap and micro fiber towels to wash and dry

 

Meguiar's makes a Quick Wheel Detailer. I've used it once or twice and it does a really good job.
