Removeing Mouldings

I have searched the form and have found nothing with this question. My truck is a 97 f 150 xlt and i would like to remove the mouldings my question is will the paint be darker under due to fading or no?

i took mine off my 01 and i couldnt tell a difference in paint color
depends on how bad you think your paint is or is going to be.

did the drivers side looks a lot better paint matched fine took a while to get all the adhesive off of the doors put a coat of polish and wax looks great
