Brake cleaner??? Are you serious??? Thats horrible! If the bug and tar remover doesnt do the job. I personally would use a MF and Mineral spirits. I had tar on my 03 Ranger that was way worse than what you are showing and the mineral spirits cleaned it off no problem. I soaked a corner for the MF and held it on the tar for about 30 sec and it came off with minimal rubbing. Just remember while removing you should always fold to a clean side of the towel after every wipe or have one for application and 1 for removal.
That's just the kind of reply that has chased a number of more experienced detailers off of this site. If you'd bothered to check into my experience and past results - particularly with this truck - you might have worded your reply a bit more carefully. Oh well, off to the other site.
