If this was your detail what would you use

This weekend I will be detailing my girlfriend's mother car. Its a white (off white) Audi. The picture below is what the car looks like but is not her car. This is what I plan on doing. Let me know if these products will work nice on a white car

wash
dry
clay
Megs Deep Paint Cleaner or Color X (which one)
NXT 2.0

How does this sound? Can I use color x on white?
I would like to stick with the products that I have b/c I'm not getting paid for this project.

I just spoke to a rep over at Megs and I'm not going to go the color x route. Im going to do this:

Wash, Dry, Clay, DC, NXT2.0

My 2 cents:

Wash + Dry
Clay
Rewash + Dry
DC Paint Cleaner (if you think it's required)
PB White Diamond
PB EX-P
Carnauba Wax (if you really want to, not necessary)

That's the process I used on my black truck with the exception that I used Black Hole instead of the White Diamond. I also did not follow up with any carnauba wax. In my opinion it came out VERY nice.

I truly appreciate your 2 cents but I rather stick with Megs products for now. One I master their products then I will be willing to step out.

no need to rewash and dry .. you are just adding an extra chance to induce marring on the paint.

That was the first I had ever heard of a second wash/dry after claying as well. I have never had an issue with going straight to a wax or cleaner after a good drying after claying.

Is there anything else that you can think of that I may need to do?

Once I'm done with everything I'm thinking about spraying it with #34 final inspection but I've never seen it on white. Will it look good.

I have never used it but from what I have heard, it works great to finish off your car.

I use it all the time but I've never applied it to white.

I don't see why it wouldn't work on white if it has worked on red or black.

For an unpaid job, this is fine. Use DC1 instead of ColorX.
