Snowbound OCD Bretheren

Got a question...

What type of "snow brush" do you use? I'm looking for something 'heavy duty' that will not leave little suprises to be found in the spring time.

to get snow off the vehicle? I've heard of people using leaf blowers, I personally just clear enough off my windshield to see... then drive really fast

I think that I am going to get one of the soft foam snow brushes that I see the car dealers use here on a regular basis. The I dont think that you are going to really find anything that wont do some sort of damage. I have maring in the clear from just the snow and ice sliding off the roof of my truck on warm days.

Your best bet would be parking in a garage and only cleaning your windows when you have snow and ice on your truck.

No doubt. Both my vehicles sleep in the garage. I'm just looking for something for when I'm leaving work/school/etc. I don't believe in and effing hate it when I see ppl too damn lazy to remove the snow from their vehicle, opting rather than lil slits to see thru.
I'm just trying to get a feel for what others' use, while avoiding the dreaded 'spring time swirlies'.

I hear you Turbo, Im not a fan of being the recepient of somebody elses flying iceberg...seems that no matter how careful you are with a brush, the melting/ sliding snow or ice can do its own damage.

I use a snow broom (SnoBrum). Got one for the truck and one for the Wife's Mustang. They work good and (so far) haven't scratched up the paint.

I have heard the SnoBrum is the way to go. Just push the snow off right above the paint, and then let the little bit left come off while driving.
