@$%& Nozzle

I ordered one of those fire hose nozzles a few months ago from Autogeek. Initial impression out of the box was it looks good and sturdy. On the first use I instantly hated it. Perhaps my head is screwed on backwards or this nozzle is backwards. I would assume when turning the nozzle on it would give you a slow wide flow, in actuality the reverse occurs a narrow fast stream blasts out. I figured maybe I'll get used to it. Nope. I've been busier than a two-peckered billy goat the past few months so I've haven't had too many opportunities to use it. Over the past week I've used it three times with a whole new problem. It's big and fat and looks like it's safe to drop it instead of gently setting it down. Now the end piece slides back towards the hose and slips off the metal nozzle. What a complete pain.

So I'm looking for a replacement, this one can go out in the backyard. I see one on ADS for less $, anyone tried that one out. Does it also open funny? Any other suggestions?

Steal a nozzle from the local fire dept. They're totally different...

j/k. Yeah, Right to fight (then off, since there is a different opening mechanism on the 'fake' fireman nozzles), and left for life-- ie: to fight, jet. To save your ****, super wide cone...

I shoulda known better, ask for a nozzle around here and they trying selling you foam gun. Thanks for the tip, but I'll pass on those for now. Just want a good lasting nozzle since remodeling is sucking up all my cash. I'll check Lowe's while I'm returning unused material, I may actually walk out of there with more $ than I went in with!
