Meguiars Medallion?

I was at a auto parts store the other day looking for a swirl finder and I stumbled upon some Meguiars Wax that I believe was called Medallion. I have never heard of it or seen it before. Can someone give me some insight as to what it is?

There were two bottles at the local auto parts store for 25 bucks. In what way is this wax so good that it is so expensive and what causes people to love it? I went to the Meguiars open garage tonihgt and Mike Phillips said that it had a cat ionic bonding or something of that sort which is different from most waxes. He said it didn't sell well so it was discontinued. From what I got from him was that it was a good wax, but nothing amazing.

There were three Medallion products back when it was released... one was called Medallion Premium Paint Cleaner (MPPC). This was a fantastic paint cleaner that really cut through most oxidation and left a nice pop. I have four or five bottles left and I use it with occasional frequency on client vehicles.

The second was Medallion Leather Conditioner. Lousy. Didn't like it at all.

The third - and likely what you saw - was Medallion Premium Paint Protection (MPPP). I *love* this stuff. It's extremely durable and was touted as one of the products that blazed the path for full-synthetic waxes as it was said to be a 'synthetic blend'. I currently have 3 bottles of it left and I use it frequently. In fact, my personal vehicles are often protected with this product... again, in my personal opinion, it's a FANTASTIC product with light cleaning abilities (almost an AIO product). It's not easy to find anymore...

Rock Pick would you say it is worth paying 25 bucks for? Do you like it because it is durable? To me it seems like it is kinda the 16 of synthetic waxes ( even though its a blend) Am I kinda right?
