busy busy

Boy talk about a busy week.

Lincoln Town Car last Friday, Honda Civic on Monday, Black Jeep Wrangler on Tuesday, and a Toyota Rav4 on Wed.

I'll throw up some pictures later

Here's a couple of the lincoln that I did Friday.
It just got gold class, clay, and #6. It had a low price cap.
Had junk all over the paint. It lives outside and was covered in bird crap and what looked like little worms or something all over it. As I left the lady was actually fondeling the paint. LMAO!

Looking great sir.

If you don't mind me asking, what was the price cap on that lincoln? J/w because i wasn't sure of a price to do those same steps on my neighbors car... i told him i'd get back to him.

Thanks!
B

Three down. This one had a few challenges to be certain.

He's definitely going home with the instructions to tell his wife to "QUIT HITTING MY JEEP WITH YOUR CAR DOOR!"

Paint transfer on the left rear fender flare

It's not gone but some were into the clear and were too much for me.

what did you do about all that paint transfer on teh fender flare area...i have a ton on my flares on my truck..they are the painted lariat flares...truck is two tone with the body being tan and the rockers, bumper pad, and flares being dark blue...ive got transfer on all four flares i think and the detail shop i had wax and clean my truck a few weeks ago didnt do much for them..needless to say i wont be using them again...about to have to perfect my waxing and buffing skills and start doing it myself...paid almost 200 and they didnt work on any of the flares or the bumper pad or hood where i had some paint imperfections...also didnt get any swirls out..looks like they just threw wax on top... did a great job on the interior and engine bay though...but thats about it.

I was really just trying to work with what I had. There are better products than what I used out there. But short on cash and had to just work with what was already here.

Clayed
I used a G100 DA with ScratchX on spots
Meg's #9 with DA on entire vehicle
Meg's #7 with DA on entire vehicle
Natty's Red by hand as LSP

A funny side note is that he farted around and didn't come pick up the vehicle. Ended having a rain shower on it before he got to pick it up. If he had picked it up when he said he would it would have been at home in a garage before the rain started.

Sure wish I could find some people around here that would be willing to shell out that kind of cash. If I charged $200 I wouldn't have anyone coming to me at all. I think the results are worth it, and beat the snot out of any other detailer in town. But, just isn't the right income range and/or demographic here in the boondocks I guess.

And then there were 4. Dang I'm sore. And now mine need it. lol

As much as I hate to admit it, I'm kinda impressed with Toyota's low level of orange peel.

Wow those all look really good. I am very impressed. Did you use that same procedure on all of them

Or did ya do whatever the vehicle needed?

EDIT: Never mind I read back through and saw what you did!

well this guy charged a little more because he comes and picks up the truck and drops it back off when hes done...there is another place in town that is supposed to be the best and they dont charge quite as much...more like 120 i think but i would have to drop the truck off and pick it up at the end of the day...but i dont know if they are really any better than this guy is
