Thumper is in need of some new MFs !!

It's about time that I phased out my current MFs but some new ones. They aren't too far along but it's time to put some new ones in duty. I'm looking for something to remove polish, wax, sealant, etcs. Basically do most of the work. I was looking at these Cobras. I'd like some input on them and some advice.

I'm open to the PakShaks as well. I just don't know which ones to go with. I'd like to get about 12 towels and keep it under $100. I think that's possible, right? I do want to buy top of the line towels though.

I also want to pick up some other towels for grunt work. I'm using the ADS "Blues" and they work great. I actually might even get some more of them but I'm open to any advice that you guys can give. JP, Brad, hmw3, f150sport03, etc I want some input.

I also need to know of a good brush to clean the inside of the wheels while they are on the vehicle. On a side note, I was looking at the Mothers brushes on AutoGeek.net and they look pretty nice. They've got rubber grips for your hands. I was looking at the wheel well and tire brush. I've been using the "used" up mitts for the tires but I've been leaning towards getting a brush and I think I'm about ready so shoot those suggestions towards me. Keep in mind the tire size that is on the Mustang. Not too much sidewall and I don't want to damage the wheel.

I personally use a brush I got from PepBoys or something. No sense in my mind in spending more than 5$ on a brush to clean tires and wheel weels.

SM - Buy 24 for 110$

The link didn't work. Are these the for the polishing, waxing, sealant duties or the bulk towels? The Mothers brushes are about $5 from AutoGeek.

Plus shipping, wait time... etc.

Guess that's up to you. Try this link. These are great towels. JP wouldn't let me hold them until after we clayed - they were sealed up in cryogenic(sp?) freeze until then.

I might have to try those ones from Specialty Motoring. The price is right. I still really like the MFs that Adam's sells. They're just so damn expensive. Three for $30. Next on my list are towels from Pakshak. 16x24 Ultra Microbanded Plush 12-pack for $54. Though they're Detailer's Paradise towels (16x16, 3 for 25) sound awesome as well. I'm just going to keep buying by the dozen until I find some that I really like and then I'll place a big order. But by then I'll have a couple hundred probably.

That's what I've been using. Been thinking of trying the towels from SM though.

Anything wrong with the Costco MF pack? 36 count 16x16 for $15.00.

All the brands, cheap or expensive, are made in China.

I'm leaning towards getting some of each of the ones Gators posted. I also saw that brush, I like it a lot !!

The Meguiars Supreme Shine used to be my favorite towel. I still use them for all of my heavy lifting. However they stopped putting the satin edge on them and they don't have nearly as much "nap" as the old ones.

Some are made in different places. Regardless, there is a big difference. Not all microfibers are the same quality.

That's not true. Most of the cheap ones are made in China. Most high quality microfiber products are produced in Korea. I'm sure like everything else there are exceptions to that.
