Satin Silver LSP?

I just got a S197 Mustang GT take off front bumper in the mail today for my girl's car. It's in pretty decent shape other than some fine scratches that have been removed, already. I've clayed it, #80, White Diamond, and I'm about to put on PBs EX Sealant.

However what should I top it with? Or should I just leave the EX as the final coat? NXT looks great on Satin Silver. But, since EX has carnuba in it, wouldn't the slight cleaners in NXT mess that up? I was thinking of just topping it with #16 but can't decide.

This is what it looks like so far. I'm really loving White Diamond. It looks and smells good as well as goes on and off super easy.

Well, what's the LSP on the rest of the car?

Also, you need to try some EX-P.

I've used Natty's Red on my truck and I like it a lot. #16 may last longer but no paste I've used is easier on and off like natty's. But for a bumper your probly not worried about that.

Not sure Thump as Nattys so I didn't recommend it.

Hey Thump, maybe when you get that bumper on, you can get 100 or so water bead photos of that one too.

Just messing with you Ted....

I'll be going with #16 after the EX cures.

There is no LSP now, it used to be NXT though. It's going to need a full detail after the bumpers installation so that's not a problem.

I know, I really want to get some EX-P as well as some Poorboy's Waxes. I just find myself loving liquid waxes. $16 isn't too bad because the tin is pretty wide. The Poorboy stuff is pretty small isn't it?

PB offers their waxes in two jars. The one you want is called the wide mouth jar...

The stock you see around right now for Red is not in the wide jar...so yes it is kind of hard to get out. Now, this is the time to start thinking about true by hand application. Something I haven't done yet.

Since you do have some experience with how the products are easy on and easy off, the same goes for Nattys. Going "thin" with it is not as important as with say what you have in your house there, #16. Go thick on that stuff and you are going to hate life as you already know, as we all know. (Quote RockPick. thin thin thin)

All the Nattys are easy on and easy off. Not as easy as say EX or EX-P but not far off.

Ooo la la. Good information. It's a shame that I couldn't of found some Nattys Red in the WMJ. Which wax do you recommend for me?

By the way, which jars are those? The regular or wide mouths? I'm guessing wide mouth.

Any of them. Red if you can get it...blue for darker colors (But I have used on white before and it looks great) White is original, looks good on any color.

So take your pick.

I have, with both paste and with liquid. It is kinda fun, and definitely gets some interesting looks... Sometimes fun for the showing off ad such...

Other than that, I will say that it is EXTREMELY easy to use WAY too much product when doing it with your hands, so I'll just warn you to grab less than you think...
