This may not help you...but not all MF's are equal and it's a personal choice....that being said, Buy what you can budget wise.

There are many other superior MF's out there but they do cost more.

I may get dog-piled for this response but I won't buy Megs MF's anymore.

Such as? I am always interested in various substitutions, but haven't found any MFs that perform better the Meguiars. Or at least anything local.

I consider myself an exception but my day to day quality MF's are here
http://www.specialtymotoring.com/mf-1015.html

But I do also buy bulk MF's from ADS for my wheels, glass, and camper. Once I get them really dirty and they no longer can be cleaned, they go in the trash...those are my bulks.

For my main work, I use the SM Soft Edge Premium and the Awesome Towel also from SM.

Not sure of the OEM but these can be found in sevral places on the net.

My favorites are the MFs from DFtowel and PakShak. IMO much nicer than the Megs towels, but also more expensive.

Just ordered 12. We will see how they work out. Too bad, I will not have them to try tomorrow. Tomorrow will be my first try with my new G110. No more working by hand.

I loved the Meguiars Supreme Shine, when they had the satin edge on the edges. However they don't make it anymore like that and no one has any, that I can find, so I'm going to be switching to probably PakShak.

You ordered 12? You poor bastar_d....you started at the top...anything from here on out will be a disappointment. Those are incredible MF's.

I do have to order another 4 dozen or so.

I think you're spot on. They're good, but not great. And they cost way too much as compared to other towels of comparable quality...

I started off with the Meg towels, used them and was pretty satisfied with the quality. They were available locally and were "good enough" or so I though as I really didn't know better. I then received a PakShak towel included in one of my orders from them, quality was much better the the Megs, much more plush and really not more expensive. I'm slowly starting to switch over to the PakShak towels for paint work and the Megs are getting used for dirtier jobs. The Meg towels aren't bad its just there are other towels that are better for not much more money.

I hope they live up to the hype, based on price.
