I found some of it locally at Harbor Freight a couple of months ago. I hadn't seen it in years and didn't even know they still made it. I had used it on my tractors before and was always happy with it so I got it and tried it again.
I had put two coats of NXT on one week-end and the next two coats of C845. Last week before I went to FL I put one more coat on to help protect the truck from the bugs. It always shined nice, but I also always keep my truck under a carport. I work nights so it never has 'baked' in the sun before either. While down in FL it stayed in valet parking for four days in the sun. When they brought my truck back to me they had rinsed it off, but it was early in the morning so I didn't get to concerned.
Finally got home yesterday and washed the truck this morning using Megs Gold. The bugs washed right off like they had nothing to stick to and the truck shined better than when I waxed it in the first place! I don;t know for sure, but I'm wondering if it 'baking' in the sun hardened it or cured it better?
I know it may not give the deepest shine, my truck has more orange peal in if from the factory than the state of FL any way's, but it sure is some tough stuff.

I really gave up the quest for a super shine nine miles deep like I see on some of you guys trucks with the paint on mine being so bad in the orange peal department. It really is a horrible job that I know could probably be corrected by the right guy, but I really don't trust anyone around here and don't know if it's worth the money to me. I just want to protect the factory finish and keep it looking as good as I can. Get ten feet away from it and it looks fantastic.
Well, in that case, I'm using Zymoil Royale' on my paint.

If this looks 9 miles deep, it's b.c my prep work is good.
What LSP is this?

Disregard that PB TR as a step, not sure why i put that in there as in "order"

Just think... Collinite car wax and Teflon for pots pans, and other uses, and Utica Club, the first beer to be put back into production after the Prohibition... all created in Utica, NY.
"Dude, where's my car"

One point to make. If your steps prior to your LSP are lacking then you are putting on a LSP over a lack luster finish.

I'll try to get some pic's tomorrow of the truck sometime, unfortunately I have an appointment with a bead blaster and parkerizing solution. Four of my students pistols are here to be finished and I've been on vacation all week so I need to spend the morning working before it gets to 140 degrees here in the deep south. (about 11AM if today was an indication) BTW: 140*=95*+90% humidity with my shop being in direct sunlight, those of you from GA will understand.
Truck looks great from a distance, might look great in pic's at a distance you took yours at, I'll simulate the distance, but up close is all Ford's fault. I can get you all of the pic's of OP you could ever want along with some bad places in the paint. I'm sure they would probably fix it under warranty, but I don;t think it would add value to the truck but rather detract if the OASIS or CARFAX would note paint work.
Now, as far as prep work:
Wash w/ Dawn
Dry
Meg's Clay kit
Wash w/ Meg's GC
Dry
NXT 12hrs NXT again UQD
Week later:
Wash w/ Meg's GC
Dry
2 coats C845
UQD
Weekly:
Wash/Dry/UQD
No machine work although kids got me a wally world 10" 'polisher'.
BTW, Your truck looks great!

You want close ups of my paint? Sure, here ya go, in direct light and sunlight.

All trucks and paints look great from a distance, but the proof is in the pudding if you will.
You can skip the Dawn step, just use car soap, the clay will get most if all the old wax on the surface. Anything left will be removed in your polish steps.
By hand eh? Well that does suck.
Show us your close ups of those problem areas. I will be in ATL on the 17th and 18th, let me know, I will take a look at your ride.

I'll get some pic's up tomorrow afternoon/evening.
I'm actaully in Augusta, 'bout three hours east of ATL. They can have that zoo up there. I've got to where I even try to fly out of Columbia or through Columbia to stay out of Hartsfield if I can. Next trade show is in Orlando so I'll just drive to it, but I think it'll be Vegas every year after that, kids will all be over 18, and the wife doesn't fly.

Orlando and Vegas, if I have to go there one more time for work I will pull my hair out....chit...too late.
PS, I currently hold the record for riding the Hulk 35 times in 2 hours. Seriously...no joke. I am listed in the park as a record holder.
LOL

If you are truly serious about caring for your surface there are many things you can do.
1. Read the sticky
2. Read the detail dictionary
3. Learn from the real pros here, Rock, Gip, Boss, Dan.
Learn from up and coming stars. hwm3, F150Sport, Attworth, Lumadar, thumper. Having seen some of the cars hwm3 and attworth have taken on as of late, they have been challenged for sure. Their results speak for themselves.
These guys too know their stuff. While this craft, OCD detailing thing isn't "rocket science" (to quote Rockpick) it is a learned craft. Most of the time we learn from our own and others mistakes listed here.
Ok, off my soap box.

you have no idea.....indoctrination is expensive.
4 DA's, 1 Flex, 5 sets of pads, more product to choke a donkey....more QD than is allowed by LAW, more APC+ to make HazMat crew nervous. More MF to cover the city of Keller.
Tell me about it......
Think I am bad, check out the stock of Rock and Boss....those guys will make your head spin.
