QD during drying?

I was watching Truck U a month or two ago and the guy from Adam's Polishes was on the show ( I can only assume that his name is Adam). He was giving an abridged demo of a detail, and before drying the vehicle he sprayed QD on the wet paint surface and dried with a WW. I have never seen of heard of this and was just wondering if any of you do it.

Yes, it's a good way to prevent water spots.

I would think its the same basic concept as Eagle One's "wax as you dry" product.

I've done it before... only difference I noticed was it was a tad bit easier to apply NXT 2.0. The water spots thing could be true, I don't know though because I don't get water spots anyway

I use optimum spray wax in place of the QD. I like the WO/WO wax during the drying stage.

Im gonna give it a try as well, I thought that it would create some swearing unless applied to dryer paint. Learning a lot here. Sometimes old school habits die hard
