I just got my truck detailed and on the drive back home I already picked up a bunch of bugs and crap on the front of my truck. Im also sure Im going to pick up a bunch of crap on the front on the way to my truck show this Sunday. My question is, what product(s) should I bring with to clean up the truck when I get to the show? I already have Meguiries quick deatil wax...what do you think about this product? What do you guys think?

if your truck was just detailed, I presume there is a fresh coat of wax and or sealant on there.

So yes, you can simply use some QD like Megs to get them off, may take some scrubbing but they will come off....make sure you use a MF for this or you will introduce marring which will be very visable on your color for a car show if it is outdoors in direct sunlight.


There are other products like Poorboys Bug Squash you could use however since you are limited on time you could use Megs or some Stoners Bug and Tar product. However, I would follow that application with a QD or Gloss Enhancer....

Net is, there are many ways to go about this but time is your enemy besides the bugs so get some QD and a few MF's and go at it. Don't pressy hard.

Unless you have something fancy going on around your front bumper, I suggest putting a sign or something with vehicle details in front of the bumper.

As long as you're not covering the majority of it you should be fine.
