Need some help, crack/ split in leather seat

I've got an 04' Screw Lariat, very well maintained inside & out. I noticed 2 small cracks or splits in the leather on the side of my driver's seat. Both splits are about 1/2" long, right on the side of the seat were it doesn't get much wear & tear from getting in and out? I can't figure why this happened? I always keep my leather cleaned and conditioned but, here I have cracks? Anyone have any recommendations with any products that will glue, bond, or mend the leather back before they get any longer? I've heard of stuff that'll bond or glue it back together, but never had this kind of problem before. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
FYI, I've got the light colored tan leather.

Unfortunately, if they're on the side of the seat, it's not likely that the crack is in the leather but rather in a vinyl material.

You see, even though you do have some leather on the seat, the vast majority of it (back side bolsters, bolsters, seat backs, side panels, etc) are pleather (ie: vinyl). The only two panels on the seat that are leather are the middles of both the bottom and back.

That said, my advice would be to find an automotive interior shop (check the yellowpages for automotive upholstry). Let those guys take a look at it and give you an opinion on taking care of it. It may be something that you have to replace but, maybe they can work some magic...

Best of luck!
