Megs at Advanced Auto

I know some Autozones have some pro line stuff (don't know the exact name, the stuff in tan bottles) like some #9 and #26, but at one Advanced Auto I went to , they had a nice little section of Megs pro stuff. They had a G110, some 83, the three types of buffer pads, some 20-something stuff, plastic polish stuff, etc. I hadn't seen that little display previously, so I assume it was put in place recently.

Too bad they didn't have any #80 or foam application pads.

But yea, just saying this as a heads up, since I know some people don't like ordering stuff online, or if you need some stuff "now." Also, wondering if this is at other Advanced stores, or just the one I went to.

Yes, I heard that Advance Auto is carrying the G110's in 68 of their stores as a test.

Cool. If anyone around the Orlando area is interested, the store I went to is the one on Colonial (SR 50) East, close to the intersection of Alafeya and Colonial.

I've been in two pepboys in past
week in the Atlanta area and both have #9 &#26. The Advance store in ft. laud near me has been expanding their Megs line since the 1st of the year. Somebody must be reading these forums.

The AZ stores by me have carried Meg's stuff for awhile now. I think.

O'Reilly's has a nice small selection of Meg's also.

I went to AZ last week for some Simple Green. They don't carry it. At all. What parts store doesn't carry SG?!

on the subject of Megs at new places, I received an email coupon from Harborfreight for ScratchX @ $5.99, "not available at all stores"

I'll stick to Rick at www.autodetailingsolutions.com myself.... the service, shipping time, shipping prices, and selection are the best I've come across

His prices, service, etc. are great. About $1 cheaper than anyplace here in town.

Rick may be great, but he can't get me more 21 or 34 or 9 or whatever in 15 minutes.

That's a hell of a good price on ScratchX.

I agree. But only if you live around the corner from a H-F store that has it, if you got to ride 20 miles or so one way only to find that the store is out of it, the price goes up. Even if you call ahead and they say 'yeah we got it', it may not be on the shelf or you maybe told over the phone that that's an internet item.
I would have posted the coupon but a posting rule prevents me. I think I'll email it to Rick, he'll get the joke even if some don't.

I've ordered from ADS twice and both times it took 6 business days to get to me. He does get the order out pretty quick. For some reason it just takes long to get here. Maybe it just has to take some retarded route from Arizona or where ever he is. I ordered from PakShak which is in Hawaii and they shipped it Friday USPS and I got it Tuesday. Memorial Day weekend no less. I don't understand it.

Are you sure they shipped from Hawaii? They may have had it dropshipped from a mainland warehouse.

Beats me, no one else has a problem with ADS.

It took 7 days for mine to get to AL from AZ. I'm not complaining though. Rick went out of his way to help me.
