honestly i dont think there is one. most bug and tar removers will take wax off. But rewaxing a bumper is no big deal, so at last resort i use WD-40 and 0000 steel wool (4 ought)

I agree that all of the bug and tar removers that I know of take off the wax but there is no way that steel wool is getting anywhere near my bumper. Just take the extra time and effort and clean it the right way instead of creating a new problem that has to be fixed and is harder than the original.

Steel wool on paint, terrible idea. Terminator is a good idea, might be able to find it locally.

X2... steel wool on paint is beyond a horrible idea.

Tarminator is, I think, what was meant in Dan's post. It's made by Stoner's.

I use whatever Walmart has for bug and tar remover. It's all pretty much the same stuff. If you use it on chrome or plastic, you can use a plastic mesh applicator to scrub it, but only use MF or similar on paint, and wipe, don't scrub. It *WILL* remove wax.

I have the Turtle Wax Bug and Tar Remover because that was what WalMart had. It works just fine. They are all the same, probably kerosene.

I use a dryer sheet and it works great (bounce) for all the stubern bugs.
