Nah... no Jedi here. 
I just happen to be fortunate enough to have a buddy that was in the detailing business for many, many years. Helping him taught me a lot (IMHO, he was the BEST), and it gave me inside access to a lot of information... and PRODUCTS. 
It's nice to have all the great products we have today... and they do help. However, as you guys already know, it's still all about "process", correct tools, procedures and and as MP would say "passion".

Gip, wash solutions is in the middle of moving their warehouse right now, when are you coming through town? It may be possible for me to give you a bottle of my stock then I can pick some up later.

Ahhh -- there certainly was a day when I would wax-on about the attributes of various QD's and their proper application.
I guess having a 2-year-old boy has bludgeoned some of the OCD out of me, as these days I'm generally just happy if the vehicle has had a recent wash......

cool .. YEs, we always take 35w around FW and on to Waco ..
I never go through Dallas unless I have to .. takes too long, and then dumps me on the wrong side of Houston, which adds another hour to the drive.
