Wax after Polish

What's the best pure polish to use on "clean" paint? Can you top polish with NXT then #26?

If not, what's the best wax to top polish with?

Yes, just wait 12 hours after applying the NXT before putting on the #26. NXT needs a cure time of 12 hours otherwise you'll be removing it while applying the other coat of wax.

There's no such thing as "the best wax." Have you read the sticky at the top of the threads? It has good information about it and also discusses the types of waxes available. My personal combination for a black truck is NXT 2.0 followed by Mother's Carnauba wax.

Thanks Thumper, will the NXT remove the polish?

No, the polish is polishing the paint. There's nothing for the wax to remove.
