Mother's Day Detail (56k beware!)

Well...I couldn't think of anything to get my mom for Mother's Day and she's been asking me forever to detail her Mountaineer so here's her present.

As you can see...this thing has been neglected for some time now. The water spots were HORRIBLE!.

Nice little scratch, who knows what from.

Barely any reflection, and this is after it was washed!

Work in Progress

A side shot after 2 passes with #2. I'm to sexy for my shirt.

After the paint work was finished. (wheel wells were done later I swear)

Another...

And Another.

My payment from Dad.

What I did:
Wash with Meg's Gold class, Meg's wheel cleaner on wheels and tires.
Mothers Chrome polish on all chrome.
Meg's Hot Shine on tires.
Meg's #2 with w8006 pad. (Multiple times)
Wanted to do #7 but was running low on time.
Finished it off with Meg's Gold Class Liquid Wax. Normally I would have used #26 but I've had the Gold Class sittin there forever and I wanted to try it. Was not impressed at all. I'll stick with #26 and NXT from now on.

Why does everyone here have their camera attached to their faces???

JP pioneered the concept of holding your camera off to the side so that people can see his smiling face (being that he is always pleased with his work...usually)................I try to do the same when I remember... You should, too...

anywho, looks great, man. Thanks to you, I am grillin chicken tonight...
