Color Magic??

I was going through the garage today and found a bottle of this turtle wax color magic,

Has anyone heard or ever tried this stuff? I know its turtle wax but it seems like it could be good. The polish is black and smells like paint. I dont know where it came from but its pretty old. Just the fact that its black and that my truck is black im kind of curious to give it a try.

Don't.

That's for reviving faded single stage paint. It was sold in several different colors.

Glad you got to this before me-- I would have told him that it's probably a knock off of Color-X and it would be fine... But since you have seen it before, I am going to put 110% trust in your words.

See on the label - "Color Enriched Car Polish"?

From TW's website:

Turtle Wax® Color Magic is an advanced blend of polish, dyes and pigments fill in light scratches and swirl marks.
Still available in black and red only. They claim it can be used on clearcoats, but I sure wouldn't unless it's in really bad shape.

EDIT: Found a review, here's the last sentence:

It is a complete waste of time and money for any car that has a clearcoat.
