Hyperdressing Ratio ?

Guys I have a question, I bought the large container of Hyperdressing and the Megs spray bottle for it. I want to use a 3:1 ratio for a nice gloss finish. If I am reading correclty I will fill the spray bottle with water to the 3:1 line on the side but then do I fill the remainder with hyperdressing right to the top of the bottle or just to where the neck starts to get thin ?

Thanks

There is a fill line in the middle of the neck of the bottle. Stop there. (I believe it says "fill line", too...)

Nice post.

In all honesty, I assumed it was half-way up the neck of the bottle and not the top seam of the bottle where it starts to taper to the neck...

Uuuhhh... I just remembered that I use a different spray bottle for my HD...because RP bought them all... That's why there is a line on mine...

I think Megs needs to write on the bottle somewhere that the seam is the fill line...

oohhhh....RP has been overdosing all his chemicals all this time...filling up to halfway up the neck...

For most of the chemicals that folks are diluting, the neck or the top seam really won't make much of a big deal... I mean, what is it, like 400 ounces (or 2.6 gallons) or something? LOL!

Sorry, R... had to do it.

Would you fill the bottle with water to the 3:1 line or with the Hyperdressing to the 3:1 line? I thought it was the opposite of the original post but now I'm confused.

If I remember right I think how I did it was Hyperdressing to the 3:1 line bc it was close to the bottom of the spray bottle, and I knew that hd was the lesser amount.

We're on the same page then. I started to think I've been using the bottles and products wrong.

Here's a pic of the bottle.

Fill with water to the dilution ratio required, then fill to the crease in the bottle just before the taper.

PS, the bottle actually only holds ~28oz.

Okay, that one is backwards of the bottles I'm using. On mine it's chem first then water so the 3:1 is on the bottom not the top.

My catch phrase is "it's pretty close", so no worries

Good thing I am a FF/EMT... (I try not to say it in front of the patients though )
