I've been using the absorber for years myself and I love it. I guess I need to stop looking for better. If it aint broke dont fix it. I guess I will continue to use the absorber but I will have to find a use for my 2 Megs MF WM and Megs MF wash mitt.

I'm getting the distinct impression that the drying TECHNIQUE is more important than the type of "towel" you use. Seems to me that whether you get the thing completely dry or not, using a QD after a wash if you are simply washing it will take care of anything that's left and prevent waterspots.

Anyone using the Soft Touch drying towel by Meguiars?

I ordered one and since my order was so large, Rick threw in another one instead of the Meguiars duffle bag. I'd highly recommend using Rick at www.autodetailingsolutions.com, he's a great guy who knows his stuff and sells his products at an awesome price.

I have been using The Absorber for years & love it! I usually use it to dust off my dash also because I do not like any shiny junk on the dash like Armour All either!...................

I just use a giant MF, and blow dry the handles and hard to reach areas.
Works like a charm every time.

If you don't like shiny junk on your dash, try some Megs Quik Interior Detailer with any old microfiber towel. That's what I use, it gets things real nice and clean and does not leave any shiny residue.

I agree completely, it makes things look like new, not overdone or anything.

Yeah, that's the best stuff I've ever used. You can even clean the smooth plastic surfaces with it and it doesn't leave a streaky greasy mess. I love to the normal/new finish it leaves and it smells good too. Very Impressed!

As for drying I use the water sheeting method with the hose wide open. I always have a good coat of wax on the truck so that gets most of it off. I can't complain about "The Absorber" either. I've been using them for years and never had any probelms or micro-swirls. I recently made the switch to all microfiber towels for waxing and general cleaning but I prefer the Absorber to dry with. Wringing it out often isn't that bad and saves a whole washer load of wet towels to run.
