I was just about to buy a G100 when suddenly they were DC'd.

So, I was on the hunt for a Porter Cable 7424. Same thing, just doesn't have the lifetime warranty I guess. If this dies within a year, hopefully PC will take care of it. If it dies beyond that, hopefully I'll have gotten my investment out of it. Scored it new from eBay for 105 shipped.

Sweet, I would of sold you my G100 though !! I've been wanting to trade up to a Flex.

Not sure what the warranty on the G100 is but, I am a woodworker use a ton of and Porter Cable tools in my shop and they have always been very good about replacing / repairing anything that has gone wrong with any of my tools. Hopefully you have a Porter Cable repair center in your town. If so, the repairs a super fast and easy.

 

I just used mine for the first time a couple of weeks ago and love it. Wish I had discovered these sooner.
