Showroom new made it less black/dark???? (Pics)

Hey guys, so I used my showroom new on the plastic on my rear bumper which was kinda faded, and it made that better. This was last week

So yesterday after I washed my truck I put some on the handles and the front bumper.... it is worse now? Here are some pics:

showroom is on the right
( I had put some hot shine on the bumper last week, but not on the handle...)

Once again showroom on the right.

The little plastic pieces behind the wheels had some white stains from wax and it got rid of those and made the things look darker because they were faded, but it is still the darkness of the ones in the bumper and handle.

Any ideas why this is, or how to get a nice deep black to your plastic?

Thanks

Is showroom new only supposed to get faded plastic or died plastic from wax back to a black again, not to get it dark and shiny?

Is there anything other than tire dressings that get it dark and new looking?

I see what you mean about it making the plastic "less black/dark". But IMO it also makes it look more "natural". To me, natural isn't shiny. Natural is how it looks new from the factory. And to me, in both images, the right side looks OEM new.

I have never really thought of it like that. It does work good on removing white wax stains. Is there any items that keep the plastic black and shiny for a while other than tire dressings? Does bondo restore black get it shiny or just like showroom new? What about Black Wow?

I 2nd that the lighter looks better.. It looks more uniform and new, not like it has armour all sprayed on it.. As for your actual question -- no idea!

Showroom is a dye not as dressing. it is designed to restore to original. You can always add dressing such as HD after dying back to original. It fixes fading etc... not dress.
