Black wow on rubber?

I'm right in the middle of spring clean up and I'm about to apply Black wow for the first time. Is it ok on rubber? The bottle only refers to plastic.
Thanks guys.

You will love Hyper Dressing! Black Wow is good, but meant for only plastics. Besides, it's to expensive to use on tires and such. Do a search on Hyper Dressing and you'll see some amazing pictures of the results of HD.

I should soon have pics of my before the hd application in my detail gallery. Otherwise to see what it can turn out like just click under my sig on the link to the detail to check out how the hd worked on my black trim. Its two days old in the pics but it still will give ya an idea.

Wow looks great! I did the black wow on the plastic and I feel it is by far the way to go. I painted my cowling with fusion and the B/W has a softer less gloss look. more authentic. The Hyper dressing is awesome I used to use 303 but this stuff blows it away so far. I dont think it will run as bad. Today was a clay bar followed up with megs #2 & #9 after that will be ntx then some good old #16. I use it for summer then collinite 845 for the winter. I'm gonna figure out how to post a photo from my cell phone. I hear I can mail it to my pc ( not Porter cable but computer) Then I'll figure out a photo bucket account. I think thats how it works.

BlackWow will not run if dried and applied properly. Nor will HD. The only time you see HD run is when it was applied too hot or not dry.

Just to add...

This is kind of an peaches to apricots comparison... While I concur that HD is a great product, so is 303.

HD is more of a dressing with some protection whereas I would personally classify 303 into more of a 'protectant with some dressing qualities' category.

Both will black-out most areas and will do a fantastic job at staying put but, if you're really out for high-UV protection 303 is the way to go... if you're looking for a product to black out an area with ease but the necessity isn't as high for UV protection over and over, HD is the product.

For example, if I was treating a vinyl seat in a Ski Boat or anything that was in a severe environment, 303 would definitely be my 'go-to' product....

Just a tidbit of food for thought...

Now, back to your regularly scheduled Black Wow thread (I definitely need to snare a bottle of this stuff based upon the reviews that you guys are giving it -- I think this would've been the 'go to' product for Luke's badly faded flares versus water-based Vinylex).

Is there any SPF value to HD? Have you tried to layered the 2 since they are both water based and get the best of both worlds? maybe a application of 303 and seal it in with Hd you would get color and protection. Maybe mix them together. I would take sun block over looks since I'm in this for the long run.
P.S. Hows the little babe doing RP? I hope all is well!

Thanks for asking, oceanic! She's doing pretty well... had tubes put in her ears a week or so ago so, she's a tad fussy because of that but, hopefully it will prevent the reoccuring ear infections that she was experiencing...

Anyway...

HD does have some UV protection - not a lot but, some (this per Meguiar's)... I've not tried to layer but, I think they'd probably not play real well together (the reason being the silicones)...

Give it a whirl though... I'd be interested in hearing what you find out.
