Just bought some new products
03 mustang: I worded that first part wrong, what I meant was that if it didn't look good with the orbital machine, I will do it again by hand
And is the heat with the speed a good thing?
Well It all came in the mail today and I am stoked to use it! My mom was like, well why would you ever need that much stuff for a car.... I replied, oh mom, you have no idea.
Hopefully I can get it in this weekend!

I'm simply not comfortable recommending a type of 'bonnet' to go with as I've not used machines with bonnets for application but, that said, I do think that certain products may work better with a terry-type bonnet whereas others should be done with the least amount of abrasion possible (probably a nice MF bonnet -- maybe even a DFT bonnet).
So, that said...
The terry bonnet will have a higher 'cut' than would a MF bonnet. I can't stress enough to use common sense when you're trying this out. My recommendation would be to test out a spot or two with whatever you're thinking about using and adjust your plan as necessary.
Nothing that any one of us do in the detailing realm is rocket science. This can be done by anyone with a tad of practice, common sense, persistance, observation, and a lot patience...
Enjoy your new goodies...

I would use a foam bonnet for application. Remove by hand. Why do I know? I have a VERY similar device that was given to me by a friend who couldnt figure out why the foam-rubber pad was leaving marring and he gave up...
Anyway, If you decide to apply something like #9, go for a MF bonnet rather than a foam one. It will have some cut to it.
I am going to type something up for you and PM it to you later on. I am going to bed now.

I have to be honest, when I hear terms like "bonnets" and "orbitals", I just power down.
Those things scare me more than the time F150Sport showed up at my house with a little person and a donkey.

They can yield good results... I am going to look for some pics of the BMW M3 (Black) that I did with one of those things.
Granted, I used a wool bonnet and MF bonnets for it, but it worked!
I used a similar maching for years and years untill recently with zero negative effects and good results.
